Erwin Bucy

Principal and Co-Founder

Erwin is a founder and principal of Paragon Commercial Group.  With over 25 years of experience in the shopping center industry both the institutional and entrepreneurial side, Erwin has established a track record for entitling, developing, and redeveloping high quality assets in high-barrier-to-entry markets with best-in-class anchors such as Target, Wal Mart, Whole Foods,  CVS, Ralphs, Albertsons, and Trader Joe's.

 

Prior to joining Paragon, Erwin served as the Senior Vice President and Senior Market Officer at Regency Centers Corporation (NYSE:REG) where he oversaw Regency's ground up and redevelopment platforms for the company's Pacific Region. During his 11 years at Regency, Erwin oversaw the acquisition, entitlement and development of millions of square feet of retail in California.

Erwin is a hands on developer that takes pride in entitling and delivering high volume locations to Paragon’s retail customers.  Each project is approached in a balanced and thoughtful way to ensure that it will be a long term asset for all the stakeholders involved. 

 

Erwin graduated from The University of Southern California in 1989 with a Bachelor of Science degree with an emphasis in real estate finance and received his MBA with an emphasis in financial decisions from Loyola Marymount University.  Erwin is a member of the Loyola Marymount University College of Business Administration College of Business Administration Dean’s Advisory Committee, an active member of the Loyola Marymount Real Estate Advisory Council, and also has been a guest speaker in Retail Market Analysis at the Masters of Real Estate Development Program at the University of Southern California.
